Belle, a young woman yearning for something more than the ãprovincial lifeä to which sheâs been born, hopes to experience more opportunities than those available in her small, isolated French village.

Far away in a dark, foreboding castle, resides a beast who, though he had all the chances to live and learn and love, sacrificed his mortal happiness in a moment of youthful selfishness. Each day he lives in regret of the life he gave away.

The paths of these two conflicted souls cross, and as the magic of their stories unfold, the beauty and the beast discover how to live and love in ways they had not expected.
